day 8

こんにちは,

(No that's not Chinese! It's Japanse! Gosh, I hate it when people don't see the difference...)

I told you yesterday about the new dutch woman living here, right? She is very nice and she offered me to give me a ride to Terra Mitica. We first had some breakfast together and then she brought me to the theme park. I expected it to be very crowded because it's sunday and there are a lot of tourist here, however it was very quiet. I seriously didn't even once had to wait in line to ride an attraction! Most of the time I could even stay seated and go for another round :). This was ofcourse very nice, however it did have it's disadvantage: after 2 hours I managed to experience ALL attractions (except for the ones for toddlers of course). Some of the attractions were nice, some were VERY FCKNG AWESOME! There was this one rollorcoaster called "titanide" and it basically consisted of loops, corkscrews and more loops and it was amazing :). 

I also got even more sunburned than I already was. I covered my whole body in sunblock this morning, however I went in this water attraction and I got soaking wet and all the sunblock was washed off my body.... I decided to buy a cap at the store in the park, to cover my face with, however I had to take it off when I wanted to ride an attraction. So I had put my cap in this box, where everybody could put in their belongings, next to the attraction and when I went to pick it up after the ride was over, it was gone. Someone had probably taken my hat with them on accident. I tried to talk to the staff of the theme park, but they were very bad at English so they didn't understand what I was trying to say. 

When I went home again, I had to walk from Terra Mitica to the tram station. I walked next to a very busy road and there were 2 very big roundabouts. One of them had fountains in the middle and the other one had a very large "hump". I wanted to know what the view was like on top of that hump, so I crossed the road and climbed on it. It was not very special, I only saw the large buildings in Benidrom. When I walked down again, I saw this big sign saying: "do not walk on this!"... Oops :)

When I had reached my tramstation, and managed to get into the right tram, I went to buy a ticket from the machine in the tram. Then suddenly the tram started to move again and I basically fell on the ground because I wasn't able to hold myself anywhere. Luckily I was not the only one xD. 

Well, that was actually everything I had experienced today, so I will be back tomorrow!
